โรงเรียนวัดสันติการาม เดิมชื่อ “โรงเรียนบ้านเขาภูทอง”  ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อวันที่  1  มิถุนายน  2498   ตั้งอยู่หมู่ที่ 4  ตำบลทุ่งหลวง  อำเภอปากท่อ  จังหวัดราชบุรี  โดยได้รับความอนุเคราะห์ในการบริจาคที่ดินและสิ่งก่อสร้างจากท่านพระครูรัตนโชติก์ เจ้าอาวาสวัดสันติการาม และราษฎรในพื้นที่ ได้ทำการก่อสร้างอาคารเรียนหลังแรกเป็นอาคารแบบ ป. 1 ช.  ขนาด 9 x 18 เมตร  จัดการเรียนการสอนในระดับประถมศึกษา  ต่อมาได้รับอนุมัติจากทางราชการให้ย้ายโรงเรียนมายังสถานที่ใหม่ (ที่อยู่ในปัจจุบัน) เมื่อวันที่  19  สิงหาคม  2512  ซึ่งเป็นที่ธรณีสงฆ์ (ที่ของวัดสันติการาม) เนื่องจากสถานที่เดิมเป็นอุปสรรคต่อการเดินทางของนักเรียน ประกอบกับคับแคบและอยู่ไกลเส้นทางหลักและได้ทำการเปลี่ยนชื่อโรงเรียน จากโรงเรียนบ้านเขาภูทองเป็น “โรงเรียนวัดสันติการาม” เมื่อวันที่  28  มีนาคม  2518
          ปัจจุบัน โรงเรียนวัดสันติการาม ได้จัดการเรียนการสอนตามนโยบายของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นที่ กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ ภายใต้การกำกับดูแลของสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาราชบุรี เขต 1  เปิดทำการสอนตั้งแต่ชั้นอนุบาล 2  ถึงชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 มีนักเรียนรวมทั้งสิ้น   274   คน ผู้อำนวยการสถานศึกษา 1 คน ข้าราชการครู  12   คน  ลูกจ้างชั่วคราว  2  คน  บุคลากรทางการศึกษา 2 คน รวม 17 คน  พื้นที่รวมทั้งสิ้น  8  ไร่  -  งาน 76 ตารางวา 

               Wat Santikaram School known as "Ban Khao Phu Thong School". It was established on June 1, 1955.  It located at Village No. 4, Thung Luang Sub-district, Pak Tho District, Ratchaburi Province. The school revived donation the land from Phra Kru Rattanachot abbot of Santikaram Temple.  People in the area helped construction of the first school building with Por 1 Chor Building plan, 9 x 18 meters of size. After that it arranged teaching in elementary. Next, it approved by the government to move the school to new location (Current address) on August 19, 1969, which is religious residence. because of the original location made student to busy travel, far from the main route. Therefrom, it changed the name of the school From Baan Khao Phu Thong School became "Wat Santikaram School" on March 28, 1975.

               At present, Wat Santikaram School manages teaching and learning according to the policy of Office of the Basic Education Commission, Ministry of Education under the supervision of Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. It opened serving from kindergarten 2 to grade 6. There are 274 students, 1 school director, 12 government teachers, 2 temporary employees. 1 temporary government employee and 2 educational personnel in total of 18 people, area of 8 rai  with 76 square wah.
